The Kazan is the pan you reach for every day: eggs in the morning, a seared steak at night, flatbreads straight from the heat. A 9.8 in cast iron skillet with a smooth ground interior, pre-seasoned and ready the day it arrives.

No chemical coating. Unlike coated nonstick pans, Kazan has no PTFE or PFAS coating, and nothing sprayed or bonded onto its cooking surface. It is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil, and with just a thin film of oil, food releases cleanly from the smooth interior. Less oil in the pan, and nothing but iron and oil touching your food.

Ready from the first meal. No seasoning ritual before you cook. The golden color inside is the vegetable oil finish. It changes as soon as you start cooking and slowly turns black, the dark patina cast iron is known for.

Heat that holds. A thick 6 mm base keeps its heat when cold food hits the pan, so steaks sear instead of steaming and fish comes out crisp.

Use it anywhere. Gas, induction, electric ceramic and the oven. Metal spatulas are fine, there is no coating to protect.

Easy to clean. The interior is ground smooth, and the pan is cast in one piece with its handle, so there are no rivets or seams where grease can hide. Rinse, dry, wipe on a drop of oil.

Made to handle. A helper handle gives you a second grip when the pan is full, and a pour spout on each side lets you pour off the fat.

Let the pan cool before washing.

Rinse and wash by hand with hot water. Not dishwasher safe.

Dry the pan completely right after washing.
